About The Sleep Project

Meet the team
The Sleep Project is a clinician-led team of two GPs and a paediatric sleep specialist nurse. We support sleep across the whole life course — from babies and children to adults — using practical, evidence-based and compassionate approaches that fit real life.

Dr Caitlin Chasser
Dr Caitlin Chasser is a GP and Sleep Consultant with a special interest in women’s health, particularly how sleep is affected by menopause.
She co-founded The Sleep Project to make better sleep accessible through clear, science-backed guidance. With over 20 years of experience supporting patients, Caitlin is known for her calm, practical approach and her ability to turn complex sleep science into steps that feel doable. She specialises in CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia) and supports women to sleep better, feel more like themselves, and regain a sense of control.

Dr Eidn Mahmoudzadeh
Dr Eidn Mahmoudzadeh is a GP and Sleep Consultant with expertise in the overlap between sleep, mental health, burnout and chronic pain.
He supports adults whose sleep is affected by stress, anxiety, low mood, pain, or relentless schedules — helping them understand what’s driving their sleep patterns and how to change them without perfectionism. Eidn’s style is evidence-based, grounded and human, combining CBT-I-informed strategies with practical guidance to improve recovery, resilience and day-to-day functioning.

Polly Revaliente
Polly Revaliente is a qualified nurse and paediatric sleep specialist who supports families from babyhood through to the teenage years.
She is a co-founder of The Sleep Project and brings a warm, family-led approach that prioritises attachment, confidence and long-term wellbeing. Polly helps with common challenges like night waking, early rising, bedtime battles, nap transitions and big life changes. Her focus is always on gentle, realistic solutions that work for your child — and for you.

Anyone whose sleep is affecting their life — whether that’s difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, waking too early, or feeling exhausted despite being in bed. We support all ages, from babies and children through to adults, and we’re used to working with a wide range of needs, lifestyles and family setups. Our team is deliberately diverse so clients can get the right kind of support at the right life stage.

If someone has suspected obstructive sleep apnoea, we’re not the right first step. In that situation we would recommend medical assessment (typically via their GP or a sleep clinic) because it needs proper investigation and, if confirmed, specific treatment. We’re always happy to advise on the right pathway, but we wouldn’t position our programmes as a substitute for assessment where sleep apnoea is suspected.

The most common feedback we hear is that it’s “life-changing” and “why didn’t I do this sooner?” Clients also often mention feeling genuinely cared for — that we’re warm, empathetic and kind, while still being practical and clear about what to do next.

We keep things evidence-based but human. We don’t do blame, rigid rules or one-size-fits-all plans — we work with real life, family dynamics, work pressures and health realities. Our aim is sustainable change that feels supportive, not stressful.
